Our Marketing goals are always the same: Send out monthly, customized mailers, Hand-Addressed attn: to. These are always specifically targeted by equipment needs, service needs and area.
Just finished sending out an SK850 mailer which included the custom cover sheet below, along with SK850 comparison sheet and SK850 literature from the factory. We sent this out to approximately 1600 landscape/rental yard customers for both Ditch Witch Sales, Inc. and Ditch Witch of Florida. We are having electronics/mud training at our three FL locations and 3 of our DWS locations. Mailers are going out for these as well with a cover letter and TK, Utiliguard and 2450 GR literature to over 2000 HDD customers and Municipalities. We will be attending ARA, FGNLA and ICUEE.

Our big marketing event this year has been our Parts/Customer Blitz. The Customer Blitz (we sold the dealership as a whole, with a focus on the parts department) was a success, and was a great opportunity for us to see past, current and competitive customers. Thus far, we have replaced two customers yellow machines with orange machines, and it has only been 2 weeks. Going forward, we hope to do another blitz internally using a similar model and gaining that competitive business.

For the blitz, we had our guys fully stocked with literature, promotional & informational flyers. One of the items we really wanted to push was our Uptime Kits. We had 4 different flyers made with a breakdown of the parts list for a specific model on one side (we did a Vac, SK, RT & Drill), and a full list of available kits on the other. The feedback we got from out in the field was positive. Having these available for our sales guys to hand out to current customers has been great as well. It provided a full overview of what an Uptime Kit contained, and why it would be useful for their company to have on hand.
